Hello and welcome to Rose and The Wren!!
I am Jayne and I work and play in beautiful Colorado. Rose and The Wren is my creative outlet where I am excited to share my love of nature and color. Projects are often inspired by hiking in the mountains and enjoying the Seasonal abundance in the ever changing landscapes. Other projects are born from just my sheer love of pattern design and color theory.
My designs often consist of patchwork techniques, combining different fabric textures and colors to create unique bags and pillows. You will also find my drawings transformed into hand screen printed fabric and brought to life with hand embroidered embellishments.

What’s in a name?
Often when vending at craft markets people will ask if my name is Rose, well, no it isn’t.
I derived the name of my business from the two most creative influences in my life, my paternal Grandfather and my Mother. Growing up in England I spent many days at my grandfathers side in his magnificent English rose garden. He knew all the names of the different varieties by heart and filled the entire house with the blooms throughout the Summer months. Needless to say the house smelled divine. My Mum instilled in me her love for textiles, I remember sitting on the floor sorting through the button jar as she sat at her sewing machine. My Mum’s nickname………Jenny Wren ♥
